Track 2 - CD Percussion goes Pop, KOCH CLASSICS 3-6413-2
a new rudimental Solo for snare drum. The title says
everything - a "groovy" piece that's fun to play.

is one of the most fascinating cities in the world.
The chimes of Big Ben, the tower clock, located in a tower of Britain's Parliament, the Palace of Westminster is an iconic image of London. I have been inspired by the intervals of Big Ben's chimes and picked the notes.

is an exciting visual and aural piece for snare drum, pedal bass drum, cowbell and splash cymbal. This technically demanding solo piece
in the "crossover" field is suitable for concert, exhibition and exams or "just for fun". Also a classically trained percussionist can have fun here with a 3-way coordination of drumset playing. And also the jazz friends will enjoy - like the titel says: "Drums for fun"!

this new, demanding solo piece in 4 movements for the snare drum presents a "challenge", even for intense ones players. The piece is essentially based on “Rudimental Rumble", my "Rudiments" composition for 12 players. Using the different sound sources of the snare drum and the cue different playing techniques (hands, fingers, clickity-click, Backsticking, maracas, orchestral techniques, rudiments, Swiss / Basler and
Scottish playing techniques) make THE CHALLENGE a both visually and acoustically interesting lecture piece. A must for every occasion "Snare Drum Player".
a modern vibraphone Solo ballad - composed uptempo improvisation.
This grade 5 percussion duo is written in a modern style. Two players conduct a sparring match with snare drums and tom-toms. They continue the improvisation contest with marimba versus vibraphone - ending with a grand finale.
